I made a trip in December 1992 / January 1993 which proved to be very frustrating as many locations we went to , steam had been reduced by over 50 percent. On my next visit in January 1994 it rained most of the time and a trip in January 1996 to Darjeeling resulted in rain and a military curfew !!
